The largest Crypto exchange in the World Delists Bitcoin SV

World’s largest crypto exchange by trading volume, Binance has delisted Bitcoin SV. Bitcoin SV is a short name of Bitcoin Satoshi Vision which was formed last year. It was created during the hard fork of Bitcoin Cash.

Since it was forked last year, Bitcoin SV has consistently maintained its position in the top 20 coins in terms of market capitalization. It has become successful in attracting businesses and developers from BCH to its Bitcoin SV system. Such a successful coin is now delisted from Binance. The decision is taken a week after the controversy around the creator of Bitcoin SV, Craig Wright.

The crypto exchange declared that it would be delisting all the pairs of BSV this month on 22. A few days ago, the CEO of Binance Changpeng Zhao (CZ) warned that he would have to take steps if the creator of Bitcoin SV does not stop attacking Twitter users who are claiming that Craig is not Satoshi Nakamoto. Satoshi Nakamoto is the pseudonym of the creator of the first cryptocurrency in the world, bitcoin.

In the announcement made the exchange, it says “we periodically review each digital asset we list to ensure that it continues to meet the high level of standard we expect.” These come with the commitment of a team, stability of the system and smart contract along with the level and quality of development, and responsiveness to requests among a few others. However, the delisting of BSV is likely because of Craig’s attacks on the Twitter user and other people.

Wright has been claiming for several years that he is the real creator of Bitcoin, Satoshi Nakamoto; however, the evidence he has been showing are mostly disputed. Craig has also sent cease-and-desist notice to people claiming he is not Satoshi. Binance said that it would continue allowing the withdrawals of BSV until July 22.

One global trading platform named ShapeShift also announce the delisting of Bitcoin SV. Its CEO Erik Voorhees declared that his crypto-to-crypto trading company would also be delisting bitcoin SV due to the same reason. He said his exchange stand by Binance and Bitcoin SV would be taken off the platform in coming 48 hours.

The chain does not seem to stop here. The US-based cryptocurrency exchange Kraken has also given the indications that it would be considering delisting BSV.
